For schools, you have mentioned are the entry into the class average GMAT "over 700 and have slowly but steadily increased. While the average set of 700 or higher, you are a notch above the rest, can not guarantee guests entry. So basically get a good GMAT score is not necessarily in school, poor fail to eliminate you.
